Rapid Quarterly Reporting: National results

National results for England in the most recent 12 months for which data are available are presented on this webpage. Results from the previous 12 months are also presented for reference.

Maternity outcomes tell us about the health of the mother and baby after delivery. Care practice measures provide contextual information about the maternity care delivered: there is no ‘correct’ value for care practice measures to take, but they can be helpful to interpret the maternity outcomes.

Please note that caesarean section rates are not being reported at this time.
